The Times-News, established in 1887, is based in Burlington, North Carolina and is Alamance County's number one source for news and entertainment. Its print edition and website, TheTimesNews.com, reach 71% of Greater Alamance County adults. The Times-News produces several expos throughout the year including, the Bridal Expo, Ladies Nite Out, MONSTER Job Fair and the Taste of Home Cooking Show. The publication has an active involvement in the Alamance County community, sponsoring events such as the Spelling Bee, High School Senior Awards for Academic Excellence and the Classroom Collection School Supply Drive. The Times-News is also responsible for the Our Love Enough to Share program, which began in 1990, and has raised more than $45,000 each year for local charities that help make Christmas brighter for those less fortunate.
