The Ledger has served quality news to Polk County for the last 90 years and was recently named the third-fastest growing newspaper in total audience, which includes print and digital readers. In advertising, The Ledger received seven Addy awards in 2013 and twelve FNAME creative awards in 2012. In the Newsroom, the Lakeland-based newspaper received ten statewide awards in 2013, including the first Integrity Florida Award for Public Corruption Reporting for a series called “Money in Mulberry.”
