The Dispatch, a quality publication since 1882, is located in Lexington, North Carolina, “The Barbecue Capital of North Carolina.” The Dispatch includes two monthly community newspaper publications- The Davidson Reporter North and Davidson Reporter Thomasville. In 2011, The Dispatch newsroom won 7 North Carolina Press Association Awards including 1st place in Best Community Coverage within their division.
