The Destin Log began in 1974 as a newsletter published in a garage that has grown into an award-winning, twice-weekly newspaper that reports daily on its website and Facebook. It serves Walton, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties. The Log reflects Destin's reputation and spirit as “The World's Luckiest Fishing Village.” The publication has won several awards in the state of Florida for General Excellence as well as many first place honors in the last five years, including editorial, editorial page and in-depth reporting.
