Account Executive – Inside Sales

 

Description:
This position includes development, presentation and closing sales for advertising strategies relative to business customers that span all platforms, with a specific focus on existing print advertising customers sold and managed via phone, fax or email.

It demands a high impact communicator, fluent in print media sales approaches and solutions. The position requires interaction via telephone presentations and sales calls, telephone conferences and written proposals.

It requires decisions on client relationships, knowledge of the market as well as product portfolio, company policies and adherence to Halifax Rules of the Road. Contacts include staff of the Herald-Tribune Media Group at all levels, advertising customers, technology providers, and other media partners.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Development and presentation of advertising solutions that span all platforms – with a focus on customer served via phone, fax or email.
2. Client relationship building with account management which enforces the HTMG “trusted business advisor” brand.
3. Fluency in print media and a general competency for digital advertising.
4. Expansion and advancement of opportunities to improve customer revenues through the introduction of new/improved products or sales
tactics.
5. Ongoing prioritization and reprioritization of work assignments, prospecting and account management, with a focus on those that achieve a profitable return on investment and reduce customer churn.
6. Participation in active learning.
7. Forecasting and planning for future business.

Design Editor
